The Jerde Partnership, a Los Angeles-based architecture firm renowned for designing large popular destinations, is unveiling its latest in Seoul – Mecenatpolis -- adjacent to one of Seoul’s busiest commuter train stations.  Mecenatpolis is the second major Jerde Place to open in Seoul in less than a year and the third on the city’s major metro line.

Nearly 300,000 square meters, Mecentapolis features soaring luxury residential and office towers, a beautiful open-air public realm with retail and dining, and dynamic communal spaces including an events auditorium and public park, where the community can gather and enjoy art in an outdoor garden.  Jerde, known for pioneering the creation of memorable places where people can gather and experience a sense of community, has created more than 100 Jerde Places in cities throughout the world.
