AT&T shares no. 1 rank in wireless network performance

There are more reasons than ever to choose AT&T.  Independent research firm, RootMetrics, today released a wireless network performance study for Los Angeles, which names AT&T in a tie as the overall RootMetrics RootScore Award winner for its combined/overall voice, data and text network performance in Los Angeles.  The award is based on analysis of more than 76,628 wireless test calls, texts and data transmissions conducted during September 2013.

So far this year, AT&T has invested nearly $1.15 billion in its wireless and wired networks in California alone. This investment builds on the $1.8 billion that AT&T invested in its greater Los Angeles area networks from 2010 through 2012.

“Our customers depend on their wireless service to help manage their busy lives,” said Jace Barbin, VPGM at AT&T Wireless. “They want service they can depend on as they travel in and around the Los Angeles area. We are happy to see our network investment is paying off and our customers are getting outstanding wireless performance.”
