Proyecto Pastoral and Partnership for Los Angeles Schools Received $600,000 in Grants from AT&T Dedicated to Help Increase Graduation Rates

Proyecto Pastoral and Partnership for Los Angeles Schools received yesterday $300,000 to help increase high school graduation rates in the Los Angeles region. Proyecto Pastoral serves over 2,500 students in Boyle Heights. The Partnership for Los Angeles Schools, an organization started by Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, serves nearly 16,500 students across 22 schools.  Both programs focus on early intervention with at-risk students and provide a variety of support, education and training programs that encourage students to remain in school and graduate.
