CONRAD N. HILTON FOUNDATION NAMES COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER





The Conrad N. Hilton Foundation announced it has appointed Marc Moorghen to communications manager. In that position, Moorghen will help develop, implement and manage strategic communications, branding and public relations for the Foundation and oversee its website. Previously, Moorghen served as assistant director of the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation Humanitarian Prize where he managed the day-to-day operations of the Prize for nearly six years.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Moorghen worked in communications and event management in Europe, Asia and the United States. Most recently, he created marketing and public relations strategies for Figure8Productions, a documentary film company in the U.S.

VICTOR REGNIER TO HEAD NEW INNOVATIVE EXECUTIVE EDUCATION PROGRAM AT USC SCHOOL OF ARCHITECTURE



The USC School of Architecture has announced ACSA Distinguished Professor, Victor Regnier, FAIA, will serve as director for the school’s new Executive Education Program. The XED program will feature 30 stimulating courses targeting the design and building industries and will be facilitated by Regnier, along with 50 nationally and internationally known faculty.

Regnier’s award-winning academic and professional body of work centers on the design of housing and community settings for seniors, and has made him one of the world’s leading authorities on housing for the elderly.

The XED program applies a west coast and Pacific Rim perspective on a range of cutting edge topics including new trends, techniques, innovations and emerging knowledge/practice areas. All courses are designed to be intimate in size and a unique social environment outside of class is designed to encourage participants to socialize, network and share ideas among peers. The XED courses offered include timely topics such as, “Landscape Urbanism,” “New Trends in Sustainability” and “International Development in China.”
