and Kerri Walsh Jennings reunited yesterday in Huntington Beach for a
friendly match against a fan and his designated teammates – his family. Mark Burnette of
Mt. Juliet, Tenn., was one of more than 40 winners selected from tens of
thousands of entrants in AT&T’s recent
“My Journey” sweepstakes.
This
summer, AT&T* gave fans a
behind-the-scenes look at their favorite competitors en route to London 2012
and a chance to win their own personalized prizes. Awards included signed
memorabilia, sporting equipment, tickets to professional soccer matches and
the chance to play beach volleyball against the gold medal winning Misty and
Kerri, among others.
