AT&T to Add More Mobile Broadband Capacity and 4G Service in Huntington Park

AT&T  announced its recent network upgrades in Huntington Park and unveiled more details on plans to provide area customers with faster speeds, increased reliability and best-in-class wireless service in 2011. 

AT&T announced several network enhancements, showing off a recently upgraded cell site and tower near the intersection of Maywood Avenue and Gage Avenue.  The cell tower is a high-capacity site, offering 850 MHz and 1900 MHz frequencies, which provide customers in the area better in-building coverage and protection against interference with nearby sites.  

The cell site is one of three cell sites in Huntington Park that have been recently upgraded with additional capacity to more efficiently manage available spectrum and increase mobile broadband in the area. AT&T also has deployed 4G to its mobile broadband network in Huntington Park.

IL VOLO WILL PERFORM LIVE AT THE AMERICANA AT BRAND ON SATURDAY, JUNE 25 AT 3 P.M.

On Saturday, June 25 at 3 p.m. the singing sensation from Italy, IL VOLO will perform live at The Americana at Brand. The trio of talented teens, Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto and Gianluca Ginoble, became the first Italian artists to sign with world-famous Geffen Records which released their first self-titled album in the United States in May.

IL VOLO will sign autographs for fans immediately following the concert.

AT&T ADDS MORE MOBILE BROADBAND CAPACITY AND 4G SERVICE IN CULVER CITY

AT&T announced yesterday recent network upgrades in the Culver City area and unveiled its plans on network enhancements for its Culver City customers and local businesses that will provide faster speeds, increased reliability and best-in-class wireless service in 2011. AT&T has also deployed 4G to its mobile broadband network in Culver City.

The network enhancements include a recently upgraded cell site near the intersection of Sepulveda Blvd. and Culver Blvd., where members from The Culver City Chamber of Commerce and the City Council had the privilege to see it for the first time.

 The "Build-Off" is the culmination of a national LEGO Harry Potter building contest, which ran in fall 2010 on LEGO.com and in LEGO CLUB Magazine. The top 50 entries were posted online and fans were encouraged to vote for their favorite LEGO Harry Potter builds. The top four entries that received the most votes overall became the national finalists and will compete for the title of LEGO Harry Potter Build-Off Champion!

The competition will be held on the main stage at The Americana at Brand in Glendale. Throughout the day, this stage will have a master of ceremonies who will engage the crowd with LEGO trivia, Harry Potter film quizzes and award free Harry Potter prizes to winning participants.
