Randy's Donuts Customers Enjoy Improved Wireless Service Through Major AT&T Upgrades

Steps away from one of the most iconic symbols revered by Angelenos, the historic Randy’s Donuts, is now a high capacity cell site that is bringing faster speeds, increased reliability and best-in-class wireless service to Inglewood.   

Randy’s Donuts devout customers and the Inglewood community at large can now enjoy upgraded service allowing them to surf the internet faster or even snap a picture of the famous deep fried treat and upload it to their Facebook page as they wait for a warm batch.  The cell site in Inglewood is one of 11 sites that have been upgraded with additional capacity this year.

It was a sunny afternoon in Los Angeles and the American Girl dolls were looking stylish on the red carpet for the launch of Citi and The Grove’s Passport to Savings program, a first for Citi.  

The American Girl dolls were handing over the Citibank Passport to Savings, which offers Grove shoppers exclusive benefits and special incentives at any of The Grove’s stores including restaurants and cafes.  And special bonus:  Citi cardmembers can look forward to gifts with purchase or complimentary refreshments at participating locations through the end of September.

As part of its continuing network investment to support growing demand for advanced mobile devices and applications, AT&T* has activated a new mobile broadband cell site in Whittier that will enhance coverage for area residents and businesses. The new cell site atop the historic Bank of Whittier Building in downtown Whittier will enhance mobile broadband speeds, enabling AT&T customers to surf the Web, download files, upload photographs and enjoy the very latest interactive mobile applications much more easily and quickly.

Built in 1923, the Historic Bank of Whittier is listed on the Whittier Official Register of Historic Resources and the National Register of Historic Places. The building is well-known for being President Richard Nixon’s first law office which has been replicated and is available to tour at the Whittier Historical Museum.
